On the evening of August 2, 2018, Br. Peter Pottorff made his First Profession of Vows with the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy, professing chastity, poverty, obedience and the Fourth Vow of our Order. His vows were received by Rev. Fr. Stefano Defraia, O. de M., our newly elected Provincial Superior at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Philadelphia.
In addition to members of the Mercedarian family, Br. Peter's profession was attended by his family and friends from Michigan and several guest priests.
Br. Peter's has spent the past year in Valle de Santiago, Mexico where he completed his Novitiate experience with the community.
